Ch 29.

Row 1: Dc in 8th ch from hook (ch 7 counts as 1st dc, ch 2 and 2 skipped chs), *ch 2, skip 2 chs, dc in next; repeat from * across—8 ch-2 spaces.

Row 2: Ch 5 (counts as 1st dc, ch 2), turn, dc in next dc, *ch 2, skip ch-2 space, dc in next dc; repeat from * across, working last dc in 5th ch of beginning ch-7—8 ch-2 spaces.

Row 3: Ch 5, turn, dc in next dc, *ch 2, skip ch-2 space, dc in next dc; repeat from * across, working last dc in 3rd ch of beginning ch-5—8 ch-2 spaces.

Rows 4–18: Repeat Row 3.

Fasten off.

With RS facing, whipstitch one Shoulder Panel to top corner of 1st poncho Body, aligning the rows evenly. Repeat with 2nd Shoulder Panel on opposite corner of 1st poncho Body. Then whipstitch the 2nd poncho Body to the other side of the Shoulder Panels in the same manner.

Weave in all ends.
